Futsal: a late point against Venezuela
Venezuela went ahead in the second half and led again with 1:49 left through Oscar Fernández before Castillo’s late equalizer, according to CONMEBOL’s report. Its account and the Venezuelan federation’s differ on who scored Ecuador’s first goal, so we are leaving that out until the official match sheet is published. Earlier in the day, Ecuador’s U-20s lost 2-0 to Venezuela, as we reported.
La Tri posted photos of both squads arriving in Xanxerê on Wednesday evening.

Rumor: who will show La Tri on TV?
Rumor. Ecuador still have no TV partner for the November friendlies against Costa Rica and Bolivia. Argentine company Torneos is negotiating with the FEF for the rights to La Tri’s games, Bolavip reported on Wednesday, citing the Ecuadorian account Mr. Offsider. Torneos already broadcasts the Copa Ecuador on DSports, according to the report. Bolavip added that the FEF’s deal with El Canal del Fútbol has ended and that the first games of the Gallardo era were shown on free-to-air TV. This is a single-source report from an aggregator, we found no comment from the FEF or Torneos, and we would treat it with caution.
